Starting on Thursday, February 11 those signing up for eHarmony will be allowed to communicate with matches for free for five days. The free communication event ends on Tuesday, February 16.

During the eHarmony Free Communication event, those signing up will not be required to provide a credit card number. They will be able to use most features regular members do, but not all. Features disabled during the free communication event include the ability to see photos and the ability to skip the matching process to go directly to email communication. That feature is enabled once you and your match have completed the initial communication process.

In January 2010, Online Dating Magazine readers named eHarmony the best online dating service. eHarmony received 43% of votes from online daters, followed by Match.com at 34%.

If you do decide to sign up for an eHarmony paid membership, be sure to see Online Dating Magazine’s eHarmony Promotion Codes.
